koikoikoi‘Big Bulb Lamp’ is a pendant lamp with an enormous bulb shape.
The lamp has got thirty three perforated discs with different diameters connected by nylon cables and separated by transparent small tubes.
The main light is hidden between the discs, which make a multiple light filter, creating an indirect and diffuse light. The separators enable it to maintain the horizontal display as well as the two centimetre distance between each part.
The changing of the bulbs can be done easily lifting the upper discs.
A big advantage from this design is that the components can be stocked into small boxes, to be set up by the buyer afterwards.
Using this same system a big range of patterns can be done.
