Threadless’ 10 years book

The superfamous tee design community/brand/shop Threadless is just turned 10 years old! Wow! Happy Birthday! We have always been fans of Threadless and returning customers and we were more than pleased to receive a copy of their supercool book in honour of these 10 years. This book is more than amazing, first it’s a great source of inspiration and a great collection of amazing designs, second it’s really interesting because apart from cool t-shirts, Threadless is a great and succesfull crowdsourcing experiment and maybe the very first one really working worldwide, and the book contains the whole story, starting from that 500$ each the 2 founders placed on the table to start this business.

And last, but not least: it’s a really good editorial product. You can have more info about it here and if you can spend a little more money you don’t want to miss the even cooler deluxe version, with hard case and sketchbook!

Glenn Jones aka Glennz is an illustrator/graphic designer from New Zealand. A few years ago he started submitting his designs on Threadless and soon he became one of the most successful designer on the site with 21 designs printed! So he thought he should try the t-shirts business on his own and GlennzTees started.

The cool thing in his tees is the perfect combination of a super-clean style, almost infographic, and refined humour, often with quotes from movies or tv shows.

Born in Germany in 1989, Niklas Coskan is a young illustrator and graphic designer (and student). I immediatly appreciated his retro style and the way he uses colors and halftones. You can find his t-shirts around the web on the most famous sites, like LaFraise.com and a skate deck on Infectious.
