Sony is soon to be launching a new original web series. Entitled “A Geek’s Guide to Get Girls”, the mini series features three geeky characters trying to organize the best party of the neighborhood. Sony has already uploaded a sneak pick of its new initiative:

The first webisode will be online on October 10th on Sony UK’s YouTube channel.

This web series is a result of the collaboration between Sony, Reflex Virtual and Point-Barre.

It was shot with a Nokia N8 using Cellscope technology and wins Gold for Best Animation at the British Arrows Craft Awards and also scoops the Film Epica d’Or Award (Grand-Prix)

A couple of really cool videos that have in common the theme of “folding paper”. The first is an Audi commercial that is running a lot in recent days, the second one is a video-asics onitsuka inspired by origami.

This is a video made for Asics. Stop Motion, origami (real!) and computer animation.

When I saw it first time i thought that a lot of origami were modeled in 3D, instead I discovered that they are 100% real, and the artist who made them is called Sipho Mabona. Incredible.

I attach a video tutorial, by Mabona, also it is stop motion, to make a Koi origami
