Timm Kong Schneider is a freelance designer from Germany. This project, called “They live” is just as simple as amazing. Using only some white balls with a black dot as eyes and placing them on garbage containers and other urban furnitures, Timm created this series of funny characters around the city.

Nychos is a graffiti artist from Vienna, Austria. His pieces are mainly made by characters more than lettering, even if his type works are still stunning. The style of Nychos’ characters is very funny but also highly detailed, very often he depicts them sliced in sections where we can see bones and organs, all in a colorful eye orgasm.

iModela, the cheapest 3D printer (so far)

According to what they say iModela can use different materials as a base for your toys, from plastic to wood. You can download models on the internet or use your original 3Ds and just print them. The cost is around $ 977, it’s not an ice cream’s price, but in the 3D printers world it’s the best solution for a non industrial/design studio use. Check the video

Yum Yum are Beth Algieri and Jonny Plummer, a design studio founded by two directors who love character design, animation and storytelling. They started working together in 2007. They discovered that they had this ability to realise all the crazy stories and wonderful characters that were in their heads and bring them to life.

New Art Toys by Coarse

Here are the latest two collections of Coarse, distinct style of toys made of resin and / or fiberglass from German duo Mark and Sven Landwehr Waschk. Half sculptures, half of pop culture icons, toys that looked almost as if they had chiselled and exposed the figures from three dimensional rock. Pieces that convey an alternate reality. A fiction brand.

Jaws Loser

Jaws Loser in pink and white editions. The toys are 13″ tall and will be released on March 26th. The white edition is limited to only 100 pieces.

False Friends

The False Friends collection released on the 7th of January 2010. Only 200 units have been made and they will sell for around 350 euros.
