Born in 1983 in Bucharest, Romania Apostolescu Matei is an artist and freelance illustrator, proud member of the DepthCore collective. Recently begun experimenting, creating pretty toys polymer clay (wikipedia). He has worked for various international clients and had exhibitions in London, Berlin, Bucharest, Istanbul.

Fuco Ueda is a Japanese artist who paints with acrylic (which she thins to achieve a watercolor effect) and powdered mineral pigments on paper, cloth, and on wood.

Nick Lepard is a young painter from Vancouver. His style reminds Jenny Saville’s work, but focused on portraits.

Tom Hoops, is a photographer originally from the UK, currently based in Asia. Unconventional subjects, heavy use of black and white and a magnetic dark mood in every image make Tom Hoops’ photographic style truly original and recognizable.

Lola Dupré is an artist from Glasgow who creates bizzare images, sometimes scattered, other times contorted.

The artist Mark Evans creates portraits of famous faces, all hand-etched into leather hides. He creates artwork using knives as his ‘paintbrushes’. These leather works of art are incredible and impressivley detailed.

Today we selected 5 inspirational advertising campaigns, from Publicis, Saatchi & Saatchi, Young & Rubicam, DLKW and Euro RSCG.

“I was born in 1986 and raised in the small town of Ellsworth, Michigan. With a family full of artists I found my interest for drawing at a young age. I recently just received my BFA as an illustrator at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan.”
