David Pintor is an illustrator, cartoonist, designer and painter. As illustrator, he has collaborated with some of the most important publishing houses as Everest, SM, Anaya, Kalandraka, Sotelo Blanco, Círculo de lectores, Biblos, Combel…He has created, with Chinto (Pinto and Chinto), the comic character Tito Longueirón, who after going out weekly in the supplement of humor Xatentendo.com, in a little time has turned into one of the series with more success among the readers of tales. The illustrations that I present here are like a journey through time and space. The works were made for the spanish magazine Leer to promote literature in the summer and at Christmas. The technique used is the ink coloured by computer, with which the picture gets a dynamic and much closer view.The result is a reminiscence of comics and cartoons that he usually done with Chinto but with large doses of nostalgia, fixing the details: violins, bikes, coffee shops, books, windows … which create a bohemian landscape and places where no time passes. They are in our memory or in our travels, as a postcard we sent our memories and we are always excited every time we see them.
