It was created as a final thesis project by Kenichi Tanaka, a talented 23-year-old graphic designer raised in Nagoya, Japan. He has studied both in his home country and in sunny California, which enabled him to experience a different point of view on his own culture, as it is perceived by foreigners. In his short, Kenichi wanted to point out that while his countrymen take pride in the uniqueness of their culture, it also has its downsides.

For the launch of the new logo of Mountain Dew, Pepsi Group, has joined the Creative Studio Buck to direct and produce a thirty seconds animation exploring the evolution of the Dew Brand. Based on 2D drawings, Buck has animated all the background objects in 3D to allow smooth and speedy evolution. Buck has used a combination of Illustrator, Photoshop, Maya and After Effects.
