Koikoikoi is created by Danilo Rolle and Rubens Cantuni.
Danilo Rolle
Creative, loves to travel to discover cultures and underground expression forms, both visual and musical. He has a degree in Fine Arts, loves images and photography and collaborates with artist Alessandro Lupi for the sound design of his installation. Today he’s working as an art director at Dartway Interactive Agency, and he’s chief web designer for national and international projects.
Rubens Cantuni
Since very young he raises his passion for visual arts, starting to work as a freelance at the young age of 5, when he gets hired by his kindergarten pals to adorn their drawings with his skills. In parallel his pathogenic interest for new technology starts growing, till the day he discovers that technology can be used to create art, becoming one with his computer. After a degree in Industrial Design he understand his way it’s not creating a product, but promoting it and starts working in an advertising agency as art director. Today he splits his passions between graphic design, photography, video editing, tattoos, but mainly in illustration and painting, working not just as a sharp observer but also creating personal projects. What does KoiKoiKoi mean?
Koi means desire. Koi means follow your dreams. Koi is perseverance. Koi is love. Koi is determination. Koi is fear for regrets. Behind any idea, any project, any work, any creative, there are at least 3 “koi”.
