Petros Chrisostomou born in 1981, is a British artist and photographer based in New York. He’s know for transforming, in small-scale, ordinary and familiar things of the everyday life in architectural models, that he constructs himself in every element of the settings. Afterwards, he photographs them in a large-scale installation so much that they occupy the space they’re in. The alteration of the scale causes a stir, a visual crowding of the viewer’s certainties, with the aim of creating a surreal world between imaginary and real space.
