Provocative, ironic, tremendously pop, is the series called “Portraits : a series of “fabulous” depictions of tyrants, dictators and popes” by Scott Scheidly. Dictators (and Pope) in their usual manly poses but turned glam and pop like real gay icons, so here they are: Hitler in a purple uniform and pink cloak, Kim Jong Il with a Lolita style sunglasses or Stalin with a fancy earring.
