Muffin Pouffe by Matteo Bianchi

Italian designer Matteo Bianchi showcased his ‘Muffin Pouffe’ at TENT London 2011 this week which is his interpretation of an ottoman or hassock. The seat is covered with plush leather cushioning that’s crafted to look like the top of a chocolate muffin. Bianchi made the base of the removable seat hollow for the storage of living room essentials including the TV remote, salty snacks, or a few books in the event there’s nothing interesting on television.
