RubensThe designer Lee Wei Chen (London Kingston University), wanted to find a way to make useful all the “wasted” (but fun) hours spent on videogames, so he designed this vintage coin-op videogame style washing machine concept. You have to put coins in it to start and then if you don’t pass each level with the given lives, the machine stops its cycle and you have to put more coins to continue. Well, probably this would make me even more lazy in doing this kind of stuff, but it’s definitly something I’d like to see in my home, instead of my boring traditional washing machine.
Il designer Lee Wei Chen (London Kingston University), voleva rendere utili tutte le ore spese davanti ai videogame, nelle quali apprendiamo abilità inutili nella vita reale, ed ha realizzato un concept di lavatrice-arcade. Per utilizzarla devi inserire le monetine, come nei videogame da sala giochi, e poi passare i vari livelli senza esaurire le vite che ti vengono fornite. Se perdi tutte le vite la macchina interrompe il suo ciclo di lavaggio e per continuare devi inserire altre monete. Probabilmente questa cosa non farebbe altro che rendermi ancora più pigro nello svolgere certe mansioni, ma è indubbiamente un oggetto che mi piacerebbe avere in casa al posto della mia classica lavatrice.
