Hi, Im Roberto Hernandez from Latinworks and I want to share a project we did to turn cancer fight into art.
The Marfa 100:
A charitable cycling event launched in 2010 that raises funds for the fight against cancer and NPR-affiliate Marfa Public Radio.
Marfa, Texas:
Artist Donald Judd moved to Marfa from NYC and turned it into an artist enclave like no other. It’s known for its “Mystery Lights,” films such as No Country for Old Men & There Will Be Blood, and a food truck frequently mentioned in the New York Times. There’s a Prada Marfa storefront to put it in some context. Beyond references in Taschen hotel books and Vanity Fair, it’s simply a beautiful locale in the high desert of West Texas.
