We can put Tati Suarez in that “girly” pop surrealism pot, but comparing her work with Audrey Kawasaki’s, Amy Sol’s, Brandy Milne’s or Tara McPherson’s it certainly has a more “hip hop/street” touch.
She lives in Brooklyn, but was born in Miami and in her paintings she also brings several icons, mainly animals, that comes from her Brazilian and El Salvadorian heritage.
