RubensI’ve felled in love with her works the very first time I saw them. A perfect mix of tiny mechanic and organic elements that creates such a tangled world, but also so clean and precise in lines.
Mi sono innamorato dei suoi lavori a prima vista. Perfetto connubio di microscopici elementi meccacini e organici che compongono un mondo estremamente complesso e ricco, ma al contempo così pulito e preciso nel tratto.
Denise Fort is born (in 1981) and raised in Munich (Germany), from czech parents, she studied Industrial Design and we can see the influence of her study if we take a closer look at her world’s details. An incredible amount of lines makes a pattern, abstract at a first look, but if we spend a little more time we can easily distinguish streets, buildings, strairs, flying machines, flowers, trees, fairy creatures that don’t need colors to be alive.
Now she’s living in New Zealand and will have a show in Los Angeles very soon.
Nata (nel 1981) e cresciuta a Monaco di Baviera, da genitori di origine ceca, Denise Fort ha studiato Industrial Design e possiamo notare l’influenza dei suoi studi se ci andiamo a perdere nei dettagli dei suoi mondi. Un’infinità di tratti compone una trama, solo apparentemente astratta, che ad uno sguardo più attenta rivela strade, case, scale, macchine volanti, fiori, piante, creature straordinarie, che non hanno bisogno del colore per prendere vita.
Attualmente vive in Nuova Zelanda e presto sarà in mostra a Los Angeles.
