Opposites attract, take the artist duo Herkut for example. Jasmin Siddiqui, aka Hera, from West Germany, was a classic artist before she entered the world of graffiti. Falk Lehmann, aka Akut, born in East Germany, street artist who developed a way to use spray cans as if they were the tools of a classic art.
In their works traditional painting meets graffiti and collage meets photorealism, usually in crudely sketched or sprayed lines but always in an emotionally compelling picure language.
Naturally their works found display in the pubblic space but also within the framework of celebrated exhibitions in London, Los Angels and Mexico City.

Estremamente originali e accattivanti, le figure sono così una perfetta armonia di illustrazione e realismo che paiono fuggiti da un sogno o da un subconscio
