Robin Gunningham better known as Banksy is English. For a long time was able to remain anonymous, until the british magazine Mail on Sunday identified him. The scoop was on 13 July 2008.
It is one of the greatest exponents of street art today. His works are often satirical and about politics, culture and ethics. His graffiti, have a distinctive technique, appeared in London and many cities in the world.
